We are a group of professionals of varied experience with architectural, civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering fields with a focus on construction; we are a team of high Health, Safety and Equipment standards. Our team has worked with a number of companies on different projects such Sino Hydro Corporation on the Karuma Hydro Power Project, EnergoProjekt-Niskograndja (Uganda), Cementers Uganda, Conservation Through Public Health on various projects.
Among the projects our team has been involved in include;
Karuma Hydro Power Project (KHPP) - Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited (UEGCL) on behalf of the government of Uganda awarded Sinohydro Corporation the Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract for the construction of Karuma Hydro Power Plant under the supervision (Owner’s Engineer/Consultants) of Infratech Private Limited. The dam will generate 600 Megawatts of electricity.
This project is funded under Concessional and Commercial Loan Agreements signed between Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development (MoFPED) and EXIM Bank of China totaling to $1.4Billion to cover the Hydro Power Plant and Transmission Line.
Real Specifics Engineering Limited Staff was of immense input in re-designing dam parts including the required structural analysis, materials to be used, i.e. reinforcement, concrete etc. bills of quantities in respect to stability of structures, blast designs recommending drill angles, drill depths, required charge and ignition order, for tunnels, design of auxiliary structures, among these included abridge on the diversion channel, multiple buildings such as stores for materials, control rooms for machinery, departmental offices and supervising implementations of the designs/structures required to meet standards for dam construction to ease the work underway. Writing methodology statements for the various designs which included specifying methods of construction, machines to use, number of workers, specialists required construction time tables.
Construction of Asphalt Overlay on Kawempe-Kafu Road (166km) - Uganda National Roads Authority awarded the contract for the construction of an overlay over Kawempe – Luwero - Kafu road (166km) to Energoprojeckt-Niskogradnja under the supervision of AURECON South Africa, Real Specifics Engineering Limited staff took charge of the day-to-day social welfare, economic and cultural affairs of all employees on this project to ensure flawless running of this project
Strengthening and Upgrading of Kampala-Gayaza-Zirobwe (44Km) Under the project Road Development Program Phase 3 (RDPP) funded by the International Development Association (IDA), Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) as the implementing agency contracted Energoprojekt-Niskogradnja under the supervision of Norconsult International A.S to Construct Kampala-Gayaza-Zirobwe road, the Kampala-Gayaza section was upgraded and widened to 11m including shoulders, while the Gayaza-Zirobwe section was upgraded from marrum to tarmac standard. The section from Kampala (Kubiri roundabout) to Kalerwe (Kampala Northern Bypass roundabout) has been turned into a dual carriageway (four lanes), Real Specifics Engineering Limited staff took charge of the day-to-day social welfare, economic and cultural affairs of all employees on this project to ensure flawless running of this project With the experience collected from throughout these undertakings, Real Specific Engineering Limited has grown into a respectable engineering partner, dedicated to continuously maintain a skilled team of technical and non-technical staff that work together to build the company’s portfolio.
